• Covid Vaccines: Hoosiers age 70 and older can now begin scheduling appointments to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Appointments can be scheduled by visiting https://ourshot.in.gov. Please prepare for long hold times because the number of eligible individuals has greatly increased and call volumes and website traffic is high. Those needing assistance with registration can call 211 or one of Indiana’s Area Agencies on Aging. A caregiver or loved one also may make an appointment on behalf of an eligible senior. More information will be provided during Governor Holcomb’s weekly press conference at 2:30 p.m. today. The press conference will be live-streamed at https://vimeo.com/event/356296
    • If you happen to get Covid in the period between your 1st dose and 2nd dose of the vaccine, you may still get the 2nd dose (when eligible) after you recover or after your quarantine period. If you have received Regeneron or “Bam”, then you should wait 90 days to receive the Covid vaccine.

  • Number of NEW positive results: 41 new positive cases since 1/11/202
    • Out of the 41 new positive cases, 8 patients required inpatient care and 33 remained outpatient. Our in-house Covid rapid antigen testing is going great and has eliminated the delay in results, especially for our Surgery Department. All testing supplies are good at this time.

  • We are busy, but stable in the Emergency Department. Of our 54 patients that we have seen in the last 24 hours, 42% of them had an ESI of 1 or 2. This is an indicator of very high acuity for those patients.

  • Current number of 3rd floor inpatients: 31 and 6 of those patients are in the Critical Care Unit (CCU). We have 13 discharges today for our medical, non-Covid patients.
    • Number of available 3rd floor beds: 9
  • Currently, we have 19 inpatients that tested positive for COVID.

  • Number of vents currently in use and number of vents available:
    • We have 5 ventilator(s) in use and 2 BiPAPs in use, 1 trilogy units are in use. This leaves us with 12 ventilation units available.
