What is Lifestyle Medicine?
Lifestyle Medicine is an evidence-based approach to preventing, treating, and even reversing diseases by creating sustainable healthy habits that work for you. Eating healthier, being physically active, improving sleep and reducing stress are the foundational principles for a healthy lifestyle.
The MHP Lifestyle Medicine Clinic is devoted to providing comprehensive education within four pillars of a healthier life: nutrition, exercise, stress management, and sleep. Our Lifestyle Medicine care team is made up of a board-certified lifestyle medicine physician, a certified wellness coach, and a certified medical assistant. We will develop a personalized plan and guide you through your journey to a healthier lifestyle.

- Nutrition - What should you eat? How much should you eat? How should you prepare it? When should you eat or not eat?
- Exercises - How hard do you have to exercise to burn fat or to just improve health? When is the best time to exercise? How long do you need to exercise? What exercises are best for you personally?
- Sleep - How can you sleep better? How much sleep do you need? Do those gadgets work? Do naps help
- Stress Management - Does stress management matter to your heart or brain? How do you escape stress? What can you do to manage your stress? How do you fit this into a busy schedule?
