Travel Medicine
Do you have plans to travel out of the country?
Depending on where you are traveling, you may need immunizations, preventative
medications or advice about general precautions. If you are traveling
internationally, you should be aware of the potential risk of contracting
an infectious disease(s). It's important to get vaccinated at least
four to six weeks before you travel internationally. This will give the
vaccines time to start working, so you're protected while you're
traveling. It will also ensure there is enough time to get vaccinations
that require more than one dose. Schedule a travel medicine consult with
MHP's Dr. Diego to find out what you need for your upcoming trip.
