UPDATES FROM INCIDENT COMMAND:
Vaccination update: Hoosiers 30 years and older are now eligible for the Covid vaccine. On
Wednesday (3/31/2021), individuals 16 and older will be eligible for the
vaccine. To schedule a vaccine, Indiana residents can visit
https://ourshot.in.gov and select a location from one of more than 530 clinics around the state.
Hoosiers who do not have a computer or cell phone or those who need assistance
scheduling an appointment can call 211 or contact one of Indiana’s
Area Agencies on Aging, or AARP. Nearly 70 libraries around the state
also are helping Hoosiers schedule appointments.
Vaccination clinics that are part of the federal vaccine program, including
those at Meijer and Kroger, appear on the clinic map at
https://ourshot.in.gov but are scheduled through those retailers’ platforms, not through
the state centralized system.
So far, more than 1.08 million Hoosiers have been fully vaccinated against
COVID-19. More than 1.6 million had received the first dose of a two-dose
vaccination.
MHP’s vaccination clinic has vaccinated 13,000+ individuals. We are
still calling people on the wait list to ensure we don’t waste any
doses at the end of the day. To get on the waitlist to receive the vaccine,
please call (317) 392-DOCS (3627).
Mask requirement: MHP continues to require a CDC approved mask/face covering while inside
our facilities until further notice. This applies to employees, patients
and visitors.
Visitation restriction: MHP allows 2
designated visitors for each inpatient during the patient’s hospitalization.
