Effective August 11, 2021

Visitation Restrictions:

  • All visitors must 18 or older.
  • All visitors must follow all COVID-19 protocols while on site-screen negative, wear a mask at all times, practice hand hygiene and maintain social distancing.

Inpatient:

  • Up to two designated visitors are allowed.
  • Designated visitors may enter room only 1 time per day - visitors may not enter and exit throughout the day.
  • Waiting rooms will be closed. Visitors that are waiting to see patients must wait outside of the hospital.
  • Patients who are COVID 19 positive or presumed positive, may have one designated visitor for their entire hospitalization. If patient is having any aerosolized respiratory treatments, then no visitors are allowed. Visitors must wear gown, gloves, and masks during entire visit.
  • Visitors of COVID 19 patients must sign a waiver prior to entry
  • End-of-life patients may have additional visitors on a case-by-case basis.

Emergency Department:

  • Up to two designated visitors are allowed.
  • Patients who are COVID 19 positive, one designated person is allowed to stay, and additional PPE is required.
  • End-of-life patients may have additional visitors on a case-by-case basis.

Ambulatory Care Center(ACC)/Pediatrics:

  • Up to two designated visitors are allowed.
  • For COVID infusion patients, one visitor allowed in room.

Maternity Care:

  • Visitors must be 18 years or older (with the exception of the significant other/father of the baby).
  • Up to two designated visitors are allowed. Support person is considered as one visitor. Only one visitor may stay overnight with Mom/Baby and antepartum.
  • Two designated visitors are allowed to remain for labor and birth 24/7.
  • Waiting room will be closed. Visitors that are waiting to see patients must wait outside of the hospital.
  • Patients who are COVID 19 positive or presumed positive, one designated support person allowed throughout stay and additional PPE is required.

Surgery:

  • ​Patients may have 2 visitors in the SCC at a time.
  • Additional visitors may wait in the ACC/SCC/PSE/OP Lab waiting room and visitors may rotate.
  • All visitors will be screened before entering.

Out-Patient Surgery Visitor Protocol:

  • One 18 or older visitor allowed only.
  • They will be required to sign legal documents, make decisions, and sign discharge instructions for patient.
  • They will be symptom screened and given a mask when they arrive at entrance 5 only.
  • If they pass symptom screening they are allowed to go into surgery department and sit in the SCC room the entire time.
  • They are not allowed to leave the unit. They will provided a snack menu for refreshments.
  • If they are not symptom-free, they are required to wait in their car and stay in our parking lot.
