Healthcare is Changing & So Are the Needs of Our Community!
For decades, Major Health Partners has been growing alongside Shelbyville. From the first hospital started in a donated home in 1878, to the current campus, the landscape of healthcare has continued to change. Since 2017, our patient visits have increased by more than 100,000. To keep pace with this incredible growth, we are embarking on an exciting initiative to expand several key areas across our health system including:
- •Renovo Orthopaedic Center
- •Radiology
- •Surgical Service
- •Oncology
By enhancing key areas of our hospital campus, we will be able to:
- ➞Reduce waiting times for critical services.
- ➞Keep patients close to home rather than traveling out of the area.
- ➞Support caregivers and provide patients with modern, efficient spaces.
- ➞Prepare for the healthcare needs of future generations.
The first step in our expansion will be meeting the demands for orthopaedic care. Plans are underway for a 30,000-square-foot addition that will expand patient care, rehabilitation and imaging services, create a new walk-in clinic, and establish ReNovo as an Orthopaedic Center of Excellence.
