MHP serves a diverse community of individuals, some of whom have difficulty
communicating in English. We have medical interpreters available at no
cost 24/7 – in compliance with federal and state laws – to
assist patients, their family members, and other legally authorized persons.
These interpreters work with clinicians and clinical specialties throughout
network sites of care, providing verbal interpretation and written translation.

Telephone-based Interpreter Services
For non-English speaking patients, we offer interpreter services that
can be delivered via telephone. Video interpreting provides easy, clear
translation in a three-way communication – the care provider, the
patient and the interpreter. This system provides instant translation
access for many languages. No longer will care providers need to pause
for translation services. Rather the phones are portable and can be used
at multiple locations. In addition to providing speed, the phones help
to ensure confidentially when sharing sensitive patient information.
