SUE ANN WORTMAN KIDNEY CARE CLASSIC
The Major Health Partners Nephrology Team is proud to present our 1st Annual charity golf tournament, dedicated to the memory of Sue Ann Wortman. Thanks to the generous donation of her husband, Bob Wortman, the Sue Ann Wortman Nephrology Center was built in 2019.
One hundred percent of proceeds from the tournament will benefit patients with chronic kidney disease and patients needing dialysis treatment. Funds will help provide patients with transportation, food, support services, and any additional items that insurance might not cover.
Golf tournament participants will be treated to a continental breakfast before golf begins with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. on Friday, September 8, 2023 at Blue Bear Golf Club. The tournament will be a scramble format. Tournament entry ($500 per Team of 4 golfers) includes green fees, 18-hole game, course contests and prizes, gift bag, and lunch. Prizes will be awarded for Men’s and Women’s Longest Drive, Closest to the pin, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. The awards luncheon, auction, and raffle will immediately follow the tournament.
Non-golfing friends and family members may attend the awards ceremony and luncheon for $25 per person.
