Angela Smith, LCSW, OSW-C

Angela Smith in childcare, social services, and the child welfare system. She joined Major Health Partners in 2013 as their Outpatient Social Worker and gained experience, not just in Oncology/Hematology, but also in Palliative Care and Home Health Care services.

Angela is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Oncology Social Worker. She is a member of the Association of Oncology Social Work. She works from a client-centered treatment modality and uses approaches from Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy models.

Social Work is a good career fit for Angela, as she feels called to help people find peace and purpose with both life and death. Angela says, “it's an honor to walk with patients through some of the most challenging moments of their lives.”
