    Dr. Mary Beth Hensley is a graduate of Franklin College and attended Indiana University School of Medicine. She has been board certified in family medicine for the last 16 years and has been with MHP for 7 years. Dr. Hensley is also currently the Chief of Family Medicine at MHP.

    Her husband is a teacher at a local high school and together they have three children. When she’s not caring for patients she spends her free time on her husband’s family farm where they live, not far from Shelbyville. She enjoys caring for all of her farm animals including, a miniature donkey, 2 miniature ponies, and 3 goats! She has 6 spoiled dogs which range from a 4-pound Yorkie to a 120-pound French Mastiff. She is also very afraid of mice and she has one cat who helps to keep the mice out of the house to save her sanity.
