Dr. Andrew Crane is a Greensburg, Indiana native and is the Medical Director
of the Gastroenterology program at Decatur County Memorial Hospital and
Chairman of Indianapolis Gastroenterology and Hepatology Quality Institute.
Dedicated to improving his patient's lives with evidence based treatments
for gastroenterological diseases, Dr. Crane sees patients in Indianapolis,
Greensburg and Shelbyville. He is a member of the Indianapolis. Medical
Society and the American College of Gastroenterology. In 2017 he was named
to Castle Connolly's list of Top Doctors.
In 2000, Dr. Crane graduated magna cum laude from Hanover College in Hanover,
Indiana; then, attended the Indiana University School! of Medicine. He
completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Indiana University Medical
Center serving as Chief Resident in 200T1008. He remained there to complete
his Gastroenterology Fellowship, then joined Indianapolis Gastroenterology
and Hepatology in the summer of 201 L
He and his wife are active in their church serving as leaders of the Junior
and Senior High Youth Program. A musician, Dr. Crane enjoys playing piano,
organ, accordion, and trumpet. His athletic interests include golf, disc
golf and running.
