Because of the unpredictable nature of cancer, some patients may require additional tests, treatments and planning. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we prepare individualized treatment plans for all of our patients.
Please bring along medications, snacks or reading materials as you may have multiple appointments in one day.
If you have any MRI, CT, bone scan or x-ray images on a CD disk, please bring this CD with you for your visit. Also, if you have had a prior biopsy or surgery, please confirm with your referring doctor or hospital that the pathology slides has been sent to our doctors for review by our pathologists.
Cancer can be an expensive illness. Reviewing your insurance plan and talking with your insurance representative will familiarize you with all the benefits that you are entitled to. Be aware of what pre-certifications are required before tests and treatments are scheduled. If you do not have medical insurance there are resources to call upon if you ask for help.
