PINK HEALS is coming to Shelbyville!

Pink Heals Inc. is a non-profit program that partners with public safety, local businesses, and families to bring communities together. Pink Heals was started by Dave Graybill, a retired firefighter from Arizona. His mission is to bring love, hope, and support to communities across the country. It began with a cancer-focused objective but has become about helping and supporting anyone who needs it.

David chose the color pink, not just to signify breast cancer or a specific cause, but to represent women as a whole--to celebrate them and the impact they have in our lives. He uses pink fire trucks, usually named for a specific person, and drives them across the country making many stops along the way. Pink Heals makes visits to homes, schools, places of employment, etc. Each person visited signs the truck, receives a big hug and dose of love, then the Pink Heals team moves on.

The organization encourages communities who are hosting a Pink Heals stop to do fundraising--but they want nothing in return. David insists that all money stays in the community to be used by its own people.
